COAST GUARD PREPARES TO RESPOND TO FLOODING IN OHIO | |

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Coast Guard smallboat crews from Coast Guard Sector Ohio Valley are en route today to assist local fire departments with rescue operations in the flooded areas of Findlay and Ottawa, Ohio. The Coast Guard has deployed four Disaster Area Response Teams, along with three18-foot flat-bottom boats designed for still-water evacuation operations in flooded areas.
