GALVESTON, Texas - Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles Flemming form Coast Guard Station Galveston uses a boat hook to pull the unit's "Oscar" closer to the rescue boat here Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008. The Oscar is a life-sized dummy weighted down to simulate pulling a real person out of the water. The boat crew conducted training all day, practicing towing, de-watering, hoisting with helicopter crews from Coast Guard Air Station Houston, and rescuing people in the water.
