 Keller, Texas, native on board Coast Guard Cutter Legare helps support Africa Partnership Station mission

Motlagh, a native of Keller, Texas, is at his first duty station since graduation from Coast Guard boot camp and underway for his first sea patrol, as well, in support of the Africa Partnership Station mission, that will take him and the crew of the Legare to several countries off the west and central coast of Africa.

Under the direction of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa in support of the U.S. Navy's 6th Fleet, the Legare will focus on three primary areas critical to development of maritime safety and security maritime professionals, maritime domain awareness and maritime infrastructure.
