MOBILE, Ala. — The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a 33-foot sailing vessel, the Tortuga, in the Gulf of Mexico from Mobile Bay to Panama City, Fla., today.

Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a call at approximately 4 p.m., Friday from Sea Tow, reporting they had received a call from a mariner Thursday, stating he was departing Mobile Bay and was scheduled to arrive in Panama City, Friday at noon.  The mariner did not report his scheduled arrival to Sea Tow.
