Coast Guard Sector Mobile to hold change of command

BACKGROUND: Coast Guard Capt. Donald Rose is scheduled to relieve Capt. Steven Poulin in a formal change of command ceremony.

Capt. Rose comes to Coast Guard Sector Mobile from Alameda, Calif., where he has been assigned since April 2009 as staff judge advocate, Coast Guard Pacific Area and Coast Guard Force Readiness Command. While in Alameda, Capt. Rose concurrently served for two years as a special court-martial military judge.

Capt. Poulin served as the commanding officer for Sector Mobile from 2009-2010. Capt. Poulin will leave Mobile and is scheduled to fill the position as the Coast Guard congressional affairs officer in Washington, D.C.
