Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans receives new commanding officer

NEW ORLEANS - U.S. Coast Guard Cmdr. F. Carl Riedlin relieves Capt. Edward J. Cubanski, III, as commanding officer of Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans during a formal change-of-command ceremony July 16, 2010. The change-of-command ceremony is a time-honored tradition, which formally restates to officers and enlisted personnel of the command the continuity and authority of command. Rear Adm. Mary E. Landry, commander, Eighth Coast Guard District, oversaw the ceremony, which was held at the Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base Belle Chasse, La.
